This page explains what personal data AnotherAgent collects when you click one of our LinkedIn or Google ads, browse anotheragent.xyz, or book a call through our contact form — and what we do with it.
Who we are
AnotherAgent (“we”, “us”) is a technology consulting company based in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can reach us at rossw@anotheragent.xyz.
The short version
- If you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner, LinkedIn’s Insight Tag on our site tells LinkedIn which pages you visit, so we can measure whether our LinkedIn ads worked and show relevant ads afterwards.
- The Google tag does the same for Google Ads. Until you accept, LinkedIn’s tag does not load at all and Google’s sets no advertising cookies.
- If you send our contact form, we receive your name, work email, company, the service you are interested in, and the date and time you would like to call, and we use them to reply and arrange the call.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use what you send us to train AI models.

| Apollo website tracker | Only if you accept advertising cookies: the pages you visit, the time of your visit, your IP address, and browser and device details. LinkedIn ads and the Insight Tag
We advertise on LinkedIn and use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our pages, but only once you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner. Until then the tag does not load. Once it does, it loads a script from LinkedIn’s servers and sets or reads LinkedIn cookies in your browser. It lets LinkedIn report to us, in aggregate, how visitors from our ads behave, and lets us show ads to people who have visited the site.
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company processes this data and decides how it is used for LinkedIn’s own purposes, so it is also a controller. We receive reports about the audience, not a list of who visited. Read how LinkedIn handles it in the LinkedIn Privacy Policy and its Cookie Policy.
Opting out
- Change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time: . LinkedIn’s cookies are stored on linkedin.com, so delete any already set in your browser settings.
- Switch off ad personalisation and data from partner sites in your LinkedIn advertising settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracking-protection extension. The site works without them.
- Email us and we will remove any contact-form details we hold about you.
Google Ads and the Google tag
We also advertise on Google and use the Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads on our pages. The tag loads a script from Google’s servers. If you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner, it sets or reads Google advertising cookies in your browser. Until you do, it runs in a restricted mode: it sets no advertising cookies and sends Google only limited, cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed. With consent, it lets Google report to us, in aggregate, which ads lead to visits and enquiries, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited the site.
Google Ireland Limited processes this data and also uses it for its own purposes, so it is also a controller. We receive aggregated reports, not a list of who visited. Read how Google handles it in the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Opting out
- Change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time: .
- Switch off personalised ads in your Google My Ad Center settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracking-protection extension. The site works without them.
The contact form
When you send the form on our contact page, your details travel over an encrypted connection to our server on Vercel, which forwards them as an email through our email provider, Resend, to our inbox. We do not keep form submissions in a separate database. A hidden field on the form catches automated spam and is not linked to you.
We use what you send only to answer you and to scope the work you asked about. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to, and we do not pass your details to advertisers.
Why we may use your data
- Consent for advertising cookies and similar technologies: the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Google tag. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie settings or the opt-outs above.
- Legitimate interests in measuring our advertising, keeping the site working and running our business, balanced against your rights.
- Taking steps at your request, or preparing a contract, when you write to us about a project.
Who receives your data
- LinkedIn, through the Insight Tag and its advertising platform.
- Google, through the Google tag and Google Ads.
- Vercel, which hosts the site and provides its analytics.
- Resend, which delivers the contact-form email.
- Advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on safeguards such as the UK’s adequacy regulations for the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Contact-form emails stay in our inbox while we are talking to you about work, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. We delete them sooner if you ask. Data held by LinkedIn, Google, Vercel and Resend follows their own retention rules, described in their policies.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email rossw@anotheragent.xyz and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and the date at the top.
