Technical advisory: decide before you build.
An honest read on what you already run, where AI actually pays, and what to do in which order — written down as a roadmap you can act on. The decision work before the build, and a technical voice in the room after it.
The bottleneck is rarely where you think it is.
The decisions that are expensive to get wrong.
You do not need to know which capability you need before you call. That is the point of asking first.
Ask first. Then build the part that pays.
What is technical advisory?
Technical advisory is the work before the build: an honest read on what you already run, where AI and automation would actually pay, and what to do in which order — written down as a roadmap you can act on, with us or with anyone.
It sits in front of the four capabilities — artificial intelligence, software engineering, cloud and infrastructure and data and analytics — and decides which of them you actually need. New to the idea? Read the plain-English guide to technical advisory, or start with the AI readiness assessment.
Frequently asked questions
What is technical advisory?
The work before the build: an honest read on what you already run, where AI and automation would actually pay, and what to do in which order — written down as a roadmap you can act on, with us or with anyone.
How is advisory different from a build project?
A build project starts once the decision is made. Advisory is how you make the decision: what the real bottleneck is, whether to build or buy, and what order to do things in. It is smaller, faster, and it stops you spending a build budget on the wrong thing.
Do we have to use you for the build afterwards?
No. The roadmap is written to be handed to your own team or another firm. We would rather be useful than locked in — and a recommendation you cannot take elsewhere is not really advice.
What do we actually get at the end?
A written read on what you run today, a build-versus-buy call on each option with the effort and risk beside it, and a sequenced roadmap starting with the part that pays first. Plain English, not a slide deck of jargon.
We are not sure we are ready for AI. Is that a problem?
That is the normal starting point, and it is exactly what an AI readiness assessment is for. We look at the work, the data you already keep and the systems it sits in, then tell you what is worth doing now and what should wait.
Will you tell us not to build something?
Often. If a tool you can buy already does the job, buy it. If the fix is a process rather than software, we will say so. We are AI-first, not AI-only — we will not put a model on a job that does not need one.
Who is this for?
Businesses without a full-time CTO who have a real decision in front of them: a system to replace, a budget to point somewhere, or a board asking what the AI plan is. You do not need to be technical, and you do not need to know which capability you need before you call.
